Chattanooga is a lively and beautiful city. There always seems to be something going on. There was a time when all I wanted to do was create timelapses and hyperlapses of this vibrant place. I got really deep into this unique art form. While I created a fairly large portfolio of videos, these required me to sit in one place for large amounts of time, and now as a father I am unable to find as many random moments to go out and capture for an hour+ for a 5 second video. Yet still, when I see big puffy clouds across the sky on a pretty day, I just want to find that sweet spot at a park and let the camera do its thing.

Hyperlapses, on the other hand, are a different beast altogether. They are challenging in many ways, from maintaining the perfect angle and timing each shutter click precisely to the extensive post-production work needed for stabilizing and reframing. Though time-staking, I find them visually stunning and well worth the effort.
